After Finding You – Brittney Coon

Description:

Veronica Gates has sworn off love after a humiliating public breakup. Now, she pours her heart into her role as a professional mermaid performer at a high-end ocean-themed restaurant. Between social media gigs and private events, she keeps herself too busy to feel the sting of heartbreak.

Then her best friend surprises her with tickets to see Scarlet Failure-Veronica’s favorite rock band-and everything changes.

Sully Graham, the band’s brooding bass player, has built walls of his own. Cynical, guarded, and used to being misunderstood, he never expects to be drawn to anyone. But when he meets Veronica after the show, one night turns into something neither of them can forget.

As their connection deepens, so do the cracks in their carefully guarded lives. Falling for each other could heal old wounds-or risk everything they’ve worked so hard to protect.
