spColumn is structural engineering software for designing and investigating reinforced concrete sections subject to combined axial and flexural loads.
Top-selling worldwide, spColumn delivers a clean and simple interface for model editing and 3D visualization of the nominal and factored failure surfaces. Batch processing and integration with AutoCAD and ETABS are some of the many program features.
Obtain the P-M interaction diagrams of rectangular, round, or irregular sections with any reinforcement layout to determine strength under the combined effects of axial and flexural loads. Calculate uniaxial and biaxial bending strengths and consider the effects of slenderness using the moment magnification method all in accordance with the latest American (ACI 318-19) and Canadian (CSA A23.3-19) Concrete Codes & Standards.
With a radically simple user interface, spColumn is the premier tool for engineers worldwide to design irregularly shaped sections that may contain openings or boundary elements. Widely used for the design of shear walls, elevator shafts, building cores, bridge piers, and typical building framing elements, spColumn can investigate sections that are impossible to find on design charts or do by hand calculations.
