Description:
Local MTProto proxy for Telegram Desktop, which speeds up the work of Telegram, redirecting traffic through WebSocket connections. The data is transmitted in the same encrypted form, and third-party servers are not required to work.
Quick start:
At the first launch, a window will open with instructions for connecting Telegram Desktop. The application is folded into a system tray.
Menu tread:
Open in Telegram – automatically configure proxy through the link tg://proxy
Copy Link – Copy Link to Connect
Restart proxy – restart without exiting the application
Settings… – GUI-readner configuration (app version, optional update check with GitHub)
Open logs – Open log files
Output – stop the proxy and close the application
At the first start after the start, a request may appear to open the release page if a new version is released on GitHub (this check can be disabled in the process).
Setting up Telegram Desktop :
Automatic adjustment:
Right-click on the icon in the tray and select “Open in Telegram”.
If it didn’t work (Telegram hasn’t opened with the connection), follow the steps below:
Right-click on the icon in the tray and select "Copy Link"
Send a link to "Favored" in Telegram and click on it with the left mouse button
Connect
Manual setting:
Telegram → Settings → Advanced settings → Type of connection → Proxy
Add proxy:
Type: MTProto
Server: 127.0.0.1 (or overdefined by you)
Port: 1443 (or overstated by you)
Secret: from settings or logs

Portable mode:
The portable mode is automatically turned on if next to the executable file there is a folder with the name TgWSProxy_data.
Or you can forcibly enable the portable mode (which itself will create the folder), launching an executable file with a parameter
–portable.

Antivirus reaction:
Antiviruses often mistakenly label the app as a virus because of the packer.
If you can not download because of the blocking of an antivirus, then:
Disable antivirus during download, add the file to the exceptions and turn it back.
Always check what you download from the Internet, especially from unverified sources. It is always better to look at detects of well-known antiviruses on VirusTotal
